Don't have many local reports, so here is what I could dig up from eastern NC.
Cape Lookout jetty has been producing speckle trout in large numbers the bite has been varying, some days the trout have been running from 14″ to 24″ then other days there have been great numbers of under sized speckle trout with a few 2 lb. to 4 lb. speckle trout mixed in.
Carolina Beach reports lots of redfish last week. Even on the cold and windy days we have been catching reds, all on lures. Strike king glass minnows in dark colors, gulp alive in shrimp and pogey patterns have been working the best. Fish them slow, the fish are cold just like the water.

REDFISHING STARTING OUT WITH A BANG!!!
[quote]
"The redfishing has started out good for 2011 and should continue thru the winter months. We had a couple of warm days with highs in the upper 60’s and that has brought the water temps back up a few degrees. The water temps actually touched the fifty degree mark on the rising tide in the the lower Cape Fear on Saturday Jan 1st. The redfish have really responded and hopefully this trend will continue........... "
