A morning trip to the Surf City Pier proved to be fruitless. The surf is still churning and a steady 15 mph wind is blowing from the southwest. The sun is out, and the temp is comfortable, so we are just waiting for the wind to lay down. There were several folks fishing from the pier and no one was catching anything or getting any bites. I didn't see anyone fishing from the surf in the Surf City area. I haven't heard anything from inside today, if I get word I will post asap.
