Hello from Surf City! The picture is family after a tile fishing trip. I had not heard of this fish. My brother and nephew say they are excellent eating fish, with firm white flesh, and a delicious taste and flavor. The fish was caught in deep water, and were horsed up with regular bait casting and spinning reels, holding a bottom rig and up to a pound of weight. Brother says even with the heavy weight, the fish put up quite a fight, and after reeling in a couple of these giants, he was ready for a rest. Tile fishing? Sounds like a winner to me!
