I fished Southport N.C. today it was just to rough to fish Carolina Beach,N.C. so I ran the river to Southport,N.C. Spanish Mackerel bite was slow this morning managed to catch a few,but then went to live baiting menhaden,thats when the action picked up ! A Hammer Head Shark hit one of my baits,fight lasted about 45 minutes with Darren Raffel fighting the shark, I have to say he did a great job catching the shark. We took a few pictures and released the shark.
