Hello from Surf City!
The North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries is seeking comments on plans to expand two artificial reefs. The Division of Marine Fisheries will hold two meetings to discuss the enlargement of the Bayview Reef in the Pamlico River and the Oriental Reef in the Neuse River. The reefs improve fishing in the area. Both reefs are made of tires, scrap metal and fossil rock. The first planing meeting is set for June 16 in Washington, N.C. The second meeting will be held June 17 in Oriental, N.C.
Till next time....
Tight lines!
