Hello from Surf City!
We made it to the pier opening this morning. The first mullet was caught before the sun got up good. Alan, yea, the same Alan that won the pass last year, was triumphant again today. But since Alan had to make it to school by 8:30 am, he didn't have time to mess around. Congratulations to Alan for another fine morning of fishing.
Dad caught one nice virginia mullet, and we both caught stingrays and sharks. We got to see our old fishing friends, and make a few new ones. What a day! But we aren't through for today. My brother Jesse is on the road, and should be here by 4 pm. Some of you may remember Jesse by the HUGE largemouth bass Jesse caught that was posted on the blog last fall.
Ok, gotta get rested up and ready for another round this evening. Thanks to all for supporting the blog.
Till next time....
Tight lines!
Johnny and Donna
