Muwwets!

Hello from Surf City!

Elmer Fudd says,
"Be vewwy, vewwy, quiet. We're hunting muwwets!"

According to a post on the message board today, "Muwwets" are here! This post reports that 85 mullets were caught by a single angler between 8pm and midnight Friday evening. Yea, I would say they are here! Thanks for the report. This morning, Dad and I fished Banks Channel near the Army Corps of Engineers pier. the only thing we managed was a single puffer. It's in the freezer awaiting friends for a fish fry. I spent the afternoon and most of the evening trying to ward off a migraine. This morning, I spoke to anglers that were fishing the ocean side in Topsail Beach, and puffers were the bounty. Plenty of them. I hope to get out tomorrow afternoon after church.
