Mullet and Blues

Hello from Surf City! Surf City Pier is reporting plenty of mullet during the evening and night, and a few being caught during the day. Also during daylight hours, anglers are catching blues. They are hitting gotcha plugs and bottom rigs. The pompano have started showing up also. A few gray trout and black drum are coming over the rails. Fishing is gearing up. Get your stuff ready, water temps are in the middle to high 60's, so it won't be long until things really heat up.
