I know this picture isn't about fishing, but I think it is an amazing picture. Imagine someone at a party after having a few drinks, then walking into this room. WOW, it is scary. The floor is painted. Now this is art!
Hello from Surf City! Fishing remains slow in the surf and on the piers. Anglers may catch a stray spanish and the occasional king mackerel. Flounder bite remains hit and miss, but lots of the fish being caught are keepers. Speckled trout are scarce, but a few are being caught on live shrimp. There have been a few red drum in the surf. Sea mullets at night provide the most action, but even these are rare.
On the inside flounder can be found in the deep holes off the waterway. Reds and specks in the creeks. Not much else to report, but this IS August. It will get better.
