Hello from Surf City! This is a fishing recap from Al at North Carolina Fishing Pier Society.
Offshore is producing well with Billfish, Dolphin, Kings Yellowfin and
Wahoo.
Scattered Kings have been reported from piers from Frisco to Oak
Island. Small blues and spots on the Upper OBX and they are joined with
pompano, whiting and Flounder south of Oregon Inlet. Puppies and Black
Drum join at Ocracoke. Spanish at Atlantic beach join the mix. From
Topsail south specs on live shirmp at piers and scattered black drum.
The pompano bite is still strong.
Gulf Stream fishing for me tomorrow out of Calabash. Looking forward to
