2009 NC Recreational Coastal Waters Guide
Hello from Topsail Beach! I just got a report from Jonathon at Jolly Roger Pier that sounded mighty good! He says the fish really bit today. Lots of blues, lots of spanish, some up to 4 1/2 lbs. Some red drum, one monster slot fish, 26 inches long, 8 1/2 lbs. Surf City Pier reports much the same thing. A good weekend with spanish and blues on plugs, flounder on carolina rigs and shrimp, and an assortment on bottom rigs which included mullet, spot, croaker, speckled trout, and flounder. It's looking good anglers, let's go fishing!
