I got a fishing report from the inside from Fishin Bud Jim. Here is a portion of the report.
(quote)
JOHNNY, .....MY FISHIN BUD AND I MADE IT OUT TODAY UP ONE OF OUR FAVORITE CREEKS , STARTED ABOUT 7 THIS MORN FISHING THE FALLING TIDE WE FISHED THE MOUTH FIRST AND PICKED UP SOME SMALL DRUM, 4 . WE FISHED UP MOST ALL THE WAY PICKING UP ONE EVERY NOW AND THEN , SMALL DRUM AND FLO, THEN I HIT A BIG FLO 18" ANOTHER ONE FOLLOWED BUT LOST IT AT THE BOAT , MY FISHIN BUD ALSO CAUGHT 1 SMALL TROUT AND LOST ANOTHER ONE AT THE BOAT, SO ALL IN ALL WE CAUGHT 4 FLO ONE LEGAL, 5 DRUM NONE LEGAL, AND 1 TROUT BUT HAD A GREAT DAY , BUT WE DID GET OUT BUTTS WET A COUPLE OF TIMES , CAUGHT OUR FISH ON 3" NATURAL AND NEW PENNY SHRIMP. USING 1/16TH JIG HEADS, TROUT WE CAUGHT ON 4 " DARK GREEN GRUBS WITH 1/4 JIG HEADS. SO I AM FIRED UP AND READY NOW THE FISH ARE COMING IN, AM RIGGED AND READY . WILL BE BACK AT THEM TOMORROW MORN ,
Thanks Jim, great report. Just goes to show you, fish still bite in the rain, and the angler that isn't afraid to get wet will catch fish.
Till next time....
Tight lines!
Johnny
