Hello from Surf City! The Seaview Pier was damaged by fire. They had closed up for the day. There were 4 fisherman on the pier at the time of the fire. No one was injured. The fire started inside the pier house. I hear there was a lot of damage to the pier house. More info when I get it.
The trout bite in the surf has slowed. There are still a few dinks being caught, mostly on bottom rigs with cut shrimp. I am hearing the bite is still good inside, but I don't have any details right now.
