I didn't fish yesterday or today due to a migraine, but I got a call from Ken today and he says the fish bit well in the surf. He saw keeper puppy drum, large black drum, and keeper flounder all being caught by surf anglers this morning and early afternoon. Tommy caught a big black drum this afternoon, but said that after the tide started to fall, the fishing slacked off. I don't have a report from the piers tonight. The weather for the first part of the week is going to be beautiful. Clear and temps in the 70's. Hope the fishing holds. I'm looking for the speckled trout. I still haven't caught my limit this year. Still looking for my first keeper flounder also.
