I tried surf fishing for trout this morning at dawn, but got nothing. I had one fish on about 7am, but it got off before I saw what it was. Around 8:30 I switched to flounder grubs, (berkley gulp) but only got a few bumps and no takers. Tide was full high at 10:07am, water temp is 72 degrees, air temp is 45 degrees, barometer is at 30.12 and rising slowly. The wind is from the west at 5 mph, humidity is 62%.
